This all level class, is perfect for students who are looking to improve their strength, flexibility, and control in handstands, with a special focus on both Straight-Line and  Straddle Press-Up drills. With plenty of time on your hands.

**What the class consists of:**

- First 30 minutes on Straight-Line practice.

- Last 30 minutes on Press-Up drills.

- Full body warm-up, with specific flexibility drills to help you to get into pancake and box-split's.

- Strength,  Compression and Press-Up drills. 
Working on techniques to eventually, over time being able  press-up into a handstand from a straddle.

- Straddle holds & negatives: 
Working on negatives, chest and back to wall to develop more strength and control.

**OPTIONS: **

- Beginners will use the wall,  intermediate be in the middle of the room.

- Add ankle weights if you want to take things to the next level.

WEDNESDAY STRAIGHT LINE & STRADDLE PRESS-UP CLASS

This class is perfect for complete beginners and beginners looking to build a solid foundation for their handstand practice. We’ll focus on core strength, alignment, and getting comfortable with handstand entries and holds.

What to Expect:

- Learn and practice cartwheels and handstand entries

- Work on core and compression drills to build strength

- Focus on alignment drills to improve your straight handstand

- L-Shape, Tuck, Straddle and straight handstand against the wall

- Depending on the level partner work to learn how to spot each other safely 

- Explore entries by the wall to help you feel more confident kicking up

- Open practice where you can work at your own pace and
1-2-1 time with me to fine-tune your technique

This class is all about building strength, improving balance, and getting more confident in your handstand practice, but most importantly have some fun!

This Handstand class at Bisham Abbey - Marlow, caters for the complete beginner, with no handstand experience, right through to the advanced beginner level.

THURSDAY'S - HANDSTAND CLASS (MARLOW)

This class focuses on mastering handstand entries and transitions, depending on the week we’ll work on:

- L- Shape & L-Straight

- L-Shape to Tuck or Straddle

- Tuck to Straight

- Straddle to Straight

- Pike to Straight

*Pre-requisite: You should be able to kick up or hold a handstand against the wall for up to 30 seconds.*

**What the Class Includes:**

- Warm-up
- Flexibility exercises
- Handstand entries and holds
- Stretching during rest
- Core conditioning and strength work

**Options:**

- Use the wall

- Middle of the room for more of a challenge

- Add ankle weights if you want an extra push

This class is all about improving your handstand entries, control, and endurance. Make sure to check your time zone.

FRIDAY'S - ENTRIES CLASS

This Intermediate class focuses on mastering handstand shapes and transitions and how to move smoothly between them. You’ll work on strength, endurance, and control as we explore different handstand shapes 

We will focus on perfecting your straight-line, work on different shapes like tuck, straddle, and pike (deep 7) , different head positions and work on entries / kick ups. 

We’ll start with wrist and shoulder warm-up, core conditioning and specific flexibility exercises, followed by 45-60 second handstand holds and during the rest periods, we’ll stretch and recover. 

This class will help refine your technique and improve your transitions in a fun and supportive environment!

Improve your handstand shapes and transitions in this class! Build strength, endurance, and control. Pre-requisite: Hold a wall handstand for 30 seconds.

SUNDAY'S - SHAPES & TRANSITION CLASS

This class will focus on teaching the fundamentals and helping you achieve a straight handstand in a safe, fun environment.

What I Will Cover:

- Flexibility and mobility exercises to improve your range of motion

- Strength and alignment drills to enhance body awareness and handstand control

SUNDAY'S - FOUNDATIONS HANDSTAND CLASS

I have been trying to master a handstand for some time. Hannah had a really unique method for teaching this! The class was a hard workout, which I loved, and I felt I was progressing as she kept an eye on us to correct our technique!  Loved it!

The Foundations class helps to build strength, flexibility, and alignment for a straight handstand. Suitable for complete beginners

**Age group**: 6 - 11 years

These classes are designed to be fun and educational, focusing on helping children develop their handstand skills in a safe and playful environment. Each session includes:

- Group warm-ups that are engaging and fun

- Handstand alignment and flexibility drills

- A breakdown of basic handstand techniques and terminology

- Plenty of breaks to keep energy levels high

Your child will learn the basics of handstands while building strength, coordination, and confidence—all while having a great time! 

Children Handstand Class

Fun and safe children's handstand class for ages 6-11! Learn handstand basics, drills, and techniques in a playful environment. Max 10 kids per class.
